Janmadhayam Organised by Cultural Festival

a two days cultural festival was organised at Karra block on 26 and 27 of May with the joint colleboration of mass organisations. this festival replicted composite culture, composite heritage, composite struggle, unity and gender equality. Along with that participation of all age groups was noticed. Nearly 2500 people showed their intrest in this two days cultural program.

The inugration of the fair had its uniquness as the Aind Parha Raja lifted the plough to symbolise their culture and their means of livelyhood. Hand in hand an exhibition of varities of grains, instruments associated to agriculture and traditional weapons was done.

On the other side of the fair a cultural program was organised in which youth cultural team along with the Birsa Bal Sanskritik Dal and other child cultural team performed traditional songs and dances.

Birsa Bal Sanskritik Dal also performed a drama called'Hanqwa'. Eight cultural groups of diffrent villages mared their participation. Janmadhyam contributrd its full contributation in the formation of all these groups.
documentry films 'Loha garam hai' and 'Kiski rahsha' was shown to the villagers.

this kind of fair was performed to make the mass mostly the children to know their culture more crystal clear. All the people were nearly seen in their traditional wears.

Painting competation held on 25th May, Khunti.



On 25.05.09 a painting competition was held at Khunti district.The theme was associated with their day today sources of lively hood and culture. Around 80 children of villages nearby showed their participation.
